Homecomings
Military homecomings are a special moment in and of itself. When families reunite it can be after periods of 3 months, 6 months, or over a year. Getting to capture the moment a service member or family runs towards each other is priceless. These moments are why I started photographing military members years ago. Having the opportunity to capture these moments does not get old.
For military families, a homecoming is more than just a reunion; it's the end of a period of separation marked by sacrifice, resilience, and uncertainty. These events can take place at military bases, airports, or even surprise locations where service members reunite with loved ones in heartfelt moments that often capture national attention.
Homecomings serve as a reminder of the strength and dedication of both the service members and the families who support them. They symbolize not just a return to daily life, but a celebration of love, service, and the power of human connection.
Thank you 6 SOS for allowing me to capture these amazing moments and I hope to be blessed with the opportunity to photograph more.
When to book?
Military homecoming photography needs to be booked at least 1-2 months in advance of estimated arrival. Arrival home may change and I take this into consideration. Rough dates are what we go off of and adjust as needed. For more information, please check the info link below.
