Coldest Session Ever!

On January 20th, I was blessed to do an engagement session for my amazing friends Brandy and Bennie. We had prayed for snow to be on the ground and when we arrived to the location a snow squall had literally began. The temperature the start of the session was 20 degrees and dropping. By the time we left the session the real feel was 0 degrees from wind chill.

We had to take multiple breaks to go in our cars and warm up. We were freezing but the images are worth it.

Brandy & Bennie

The couple met during our churches young adults group. When they started dating many of us in the group were wondering if they would get engaged. Last December, Bennie proposed to Brandy. He is relocating with the military and she is completing her service here and then making the move to New York.

Ned Houk Park

Ned Houk Park is located in north Clovis, off of Prince Street. The location is one of a few that has trees and small ponds. With our freezing temperatures the park has remained frozen. It is one of the only areas with a frozen lake (if it gets cold enough) and it is stunning with the ducks on the pond. Let's celebrate winter and embrace the snow!
